Tindfjallaskáli
Tindfjallaskáli is a mountain hut operated by the Icelandic Alpine Club (ÍSALP), situated in the Tindfjöll mountains in southern Iceland. The area is popular among mountaineers, skiers, and rescue teams for training exercises.

Facilities
The hut comfortably accommodates 10 guests, featuring six in bunk beds and a sleep loft that can sleep four.
The cabin includes the following:
Oil heater
Oil barrel (located outside the hut)
Gas stove and gas
Pots for heating water and melting snow
Tableware and cutlery for 8 people
Cloths, dish towels, and other cleaning equipment to clean up after yourself (in plastic boxes under the bunks)
Trash bags
Hand soap and dish soap
Candles and matches
Small gas lamp, Note: gas is not available on site
An outhouse has been built and is located about 50 meters northwest of the hut.

Price is ISK 5.000 per person. For members of the Icelandic Alpine Club the price is ISK 3.000,-
Opening season and access
Access to Tindfjallaskáli requires a 4x4 vehicle and is typically limited to the summer months (late June through September) due to snow and challenging terrain. The most common route starts from Fljótshlíð. From there, you can drive part of the way and then hike the remaining distance.
