Rjúpnavellir hut 1

The cabin was built in 2002 and is 100 square meters, clad in paneling, and features a large and cozy main room. Sleeping bag accommodation is available for 22 people. There are sleeping bunks in the main room for 18 people, and in the bedroom, there is a double bed along with two bunk beds. The cabin is heated with a fireplace stove. There are two toilets, electricity, and cold water. It has a large, good entrance hall and a spacious veranda. Toilet paper is always provided with the cabin. Good cooking facilities for both large and small groups, including a refrigerator with freezer, microwave, gas stove, and oven. General kitchen equipment is provided, including pots and a kettle.
